first of all i would like to wish u guys SALAM RAMADHAN.... semoga ramadhan ini akan memberikan ketenangan dan keberkatan untuk kita semua mengabdikan diri kepada-NYA. Insyallah.......

Last weekend, my parents held a "kenduri Doa Selamat"for my sister who will be flying off to Yogjakarta this Sunday. After all the trials she went thru, she finally made it to a uni. Good luck SHIDA!

Anyway, for the kenduri, my mum commissioned me to bake some cuppies for the guests. 50 lil cuppies to be enjoyed by the guests. my little cousins were all excited and happy to see the cuppies :D

FACES! FACES!

Hey all!

Salam Jumaat to all my Muslim frens. :)

Let me talk about my latest project.

It was and 8 piece FACES cupcakes :D

Ive been eyeing on making faces cuppies eversince i stumbled upon several pics of them on the net.

This order was from my sister, Shida. Shida is still on vacation waiting to enroll into the Medic Faculty of ermm... some uni in Jogjakarta. *heeee..... i dun remember the uni's name. sorry *

Ok, about 2 weeks ago, i stumbled upon a post of a fren looking for part timer to teach english to some Korean students who are currently in Kuching for holiday.

Naturally, I was interested but the working hour isn't flexible. So i offered shida to the job. Besides, shida isn't doing anything punn....

so, these cupcakes are from shida (song-sheng-nim : teacher in korean) to her 8 Korean students. all topping represents the students faces.

anyone else wants me to make faces cuppies for them? :D

This cake was for my sister's fren. they had been good frens since kindy, middle school, high school and now goin to uni. Ziqah got JPA's offer to study fulltime in INDIA in dentistry. so looks like in 10 years i know which dentist to visit :D

Anyway, it was choc cake with buttercream icing. The usual stuff. Deco was INDIAN inspired. Its actually a farewell gift from me to her. Lets looks at the photos :D

birthday cake

ill just upload some photos of previously made cuppies for a surprise birthday treat.
the cuppies was ordered by a guy for a girl named fatin.
unfortunately when the guy arrived to collect his cakes, i had to do some alteration on 3 cuppies as there is a miscommunication during order. -_-

but am thankful as all end well and the surprised birthday girl is extremely satisfied *phew*

cupcakes....cupcakess

Morning all!!! its 9.30am on a Tuesday and I'm in the office with my in-tray full and work table looked like a hurricane had been passing thru... i need to call my working mojo spirit..

therefore, i need to think to take a breather and think of nice stuff like BAKING!

last week i baked two order of choc cupcakes for an engagement hantaran and for a birthday surprise. both order is thru from my dear good friend Madam Norazaliza Othman. The funny thing is we share the same name! (errr...almost )

Above is the cake for Izzah's engagement.. 30 pcs of choc cupcake with fondant deco tops with 2 figurines. Since I've been itching to try making some gumpaste flowers, i made 7 frangipanis. but one got chipped off while arranging them on the cake board.

aint they cute.... aaahhh... happiness...hhehe...
